Send to box

Send to box, in Subscribers > Manage Subscribers, sends a message or a command to set-top boxes: to one device, to the devices you pick in the list, or to all of them. Only administrators have it.

Boxes pick it up on their next check-in, usually within a minute.

What a box can get

Each box gets it one way, depending on what it runs:

A box is on Mintrix's MAG app when it signed in to the app in the last 30 days. For one device, the dialog offers only what that box can get. For several, each choice says how many of them it reaches.

Restart and firmware

Restart the box stops what is playing for about a minute. Update firmware downloads and installs firmware and restarts the box: it must not be switched off meanwhile.

Send to all goes to every device, those of every reseller too.

Messages sent

Messages sent, on a device in Subscribers > Manage Subscribers, shows what Send to box left for that box on Mintrix's MAG app:

Read	The viewer pressed OK
Expired	Not delivered within 7 days

A box shows several messages one after another. Messages to boxes on Ministra's portal go through Ministra and are not listed here.
