Ministra with Mintrix

The Mintrix installer installs Ministra beside Mintrix on the same server, by default: the newest Ministra release on Mintrix's update channel, its own database (MySQL 5.7), memcached and its scheduled tasks. No Ministra licence or login of its own is needed.

Mintrix is connected to it from the start. Settings > Ministra already holds its address (http://ministra:88), a REST API login made for Mintrix, and the key Ministra sends its change notifications with.

Ministra has releases of its own: updating Mintrix keeps the Ministra you have, and Ministra is updated from Settings > Ministra > Update. See Update and settings.

Where boxes and admins reach it

WhoAddress
Set-top boxes on Ministra's portalMintrix's box portal: https://<your domain>/stalker_portal/c/. Mintrix passes their requests on to Ministra; video does not pass through Mintrix
Set-top boxes on Mintrix's MAG apphttp://<your domain>/mag/index.html: see The MAG app
Ministra's own admin panelPort 8088 of the server (MINISTRA_HTTP_PORT in .env). MINISTRA_HTTP_BIND=127.0.0.1 keeps it to the server itself

The first start creates Ministra's database, which takes a few minutes.

Live TV and films

Mintrix keeps channels, films and series, and their packages, itself, and saves each change to Ministra first. A Mintrix that already had a Ministra with channels and films fetches them from it by itself after its update to 0.7.2: see Your channels and films.

Without Ministra on Mintrix's server

  • --without-ministra installs Mintrix alone; --with-ministra adds the Ministra beside Mintrix later.
  • A Ministra on a server of its own, installed and updated from Mintrix: see Ministra on its own server.
