Your own streaming server for live TV and films

Flowtrix takes in your channels and films and gives them to MAG boxes, apps and players as HLS and DASH, with catch-up, qualities and signed links. It runs on your server with its own interface, with or without Mintrix.

Everything a TV service sends to its viewers, configured in one interface and checked on every request.

Live channels

Pull SRT, RTSP, RTMP, HLS or UDP sources, with fallbacks when the picture goes and channels pulled only while someone watches. Import a whole M3U playlist.

Record each channel for as many hours as you choose. The links have Flussonic's shapes, so Ministra's catch-up works as it is.

Qualities

1080p to 360p beside the source picture, so a box on a weak line steps down instead of stalling. On the CPU or an Intel GPU.

Updates

Updates from the interface

A newer release shows under System › License. One click installs it.

Nothing on air stops
Running channels keep playing through a lapsed licence; only changes wait for the next lease.
Back if it fails
The version before is put back when the new one does not come up healthy.
Security releases
Installed by themselves, unless you turn that off.
Checked images
Every image is pulled by the digest its release names, and checked.

Get started

On the air in three steps

From a Linux server with Docker to a channel playing on a box.

  1. Install Flowtrix

    Run the installer with your licence key and domain. It activates, pulls the release and starts it.

    Open the interface and sign in with the admin the installer made or asked for.

One licence per server, every update included

Order Flowtrix in the NewIQ store, monthly or yearly. Your licence key is in your client area once the order is paid; the installer activates it for your domain.
