Troubleshooting

Start with the state of the services and their logs. Logs in the interface shows the agent's, the engine's and the edge's as they are written, with passwords and tokens masked.

The installer stops before it starts

It says why: run it as root, with curl and Docker with its Compose plugin installed and running. The installer does not install Docker.

The installer refuses my licence key

The licence service says why, and the installer prints it. Check in your client area that the licence is active, that the domain is the one it is for, and that it has a free server. To move it to another domain, see Servers, domains and keys.

curl: (22) … 404 from get.newiq.pl

There is no stable release yet: name the version, as in Install. A 410 means that version was withdrawn: install the newest.

A port is already in use

The installer names what holds it and asks for another. Without a terminal, set that port in .env (see Settings) and run it again.

A box gets 401

The token is missing, expired, signed for another path, by an issuer that is disabled or out of its scope, or blocked under Viewers. Logs, filtered by the channel, shows each refusal.

A channel shows "No source"

Its page shows the source state and its log. Try the source from the server; add a fallback so the channel keeps playing while it is down.

Adding a channel is refused with a licence message

The plan's channel limit is reached, or the lease has lapsed: see Licence on the server. Running channels are not affected.

"Another copy of this server renewed"

A copy of this server (a cloned disk or a restored backup) renewed the licence. Run the installer again on the server that should keep it. See Copies of a server.

The browser warns about the certificate, or HTTPS does not start

System › Settings shows what is wrong with the files in FLOWTRIX_TLS; sudo docker compose logs edge says why the edge refused them. Both files must be there, as files, not links.

An update failed

The version before is running again. System › License shows the message; /opt/flowtrix/update/log has the installer's output.
